This recurring shape seen in these and many of my other works is what I’ve come to refer to as Monuments. They often represent different things in different contexts, and can be anything from an object to a viewport or an abstract concept. I often come back to exploring these familiar shapes ever since the first ones appeared in my Blueprints collection. Within each Monument I can explore a different idea, scene, or feeling. Some are people, some places, some things, and some are just memories that I can’t sum up succinctly.
